Hey folks!
WPIRG’s 2013 School of Public Interest Conference ‘Engendering Resistance: Exploring the Possibilities of Gender, Resistance, and Militancy’ is quickly approaching and we need your help!
There will be quite a few participants coming from out of town, and the Organizing Collective is working to secure billeting for all attendees who need it. This means we need local folks willing to open up their home for some or all of the weekend.
If you or someone you know would be willing to host a guest or two, please get in touch!
Send an email to spi@wpirg.org with the following information:
– Number of guests you’re able to host.
-Can you host on Friday April 19th? Saturday the 20st? Sunday the 21st?
– Type of sleeping accommodation available
(Will your guest sleep on a bed, couch, futon, the floor, etc?)
Information on the accessibility of the space
(Do you have pets, stairs, smoke, scents, children – do you live with kids and are kids welcome?, and are you close to a bus route?)
– Any safety requirements you have
(e.g. only women guests, drugs and alcohol permitted, queers only).
– Your name and address.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and we hope to see you at the conference!
